You Belong: Picked on Purpose

We’ve all been there—feeling like an outsider, wondering if we truly measure up. Here’s the incredible truth: long before God ever spoke the universe into existence, He had you on His mind.
He didn't check your resume first. He didn't wait to see if you’d have it all together. He picked you simply because He wanted you. And He didn't just point at you from across the room—He actually pulled you in and adopted you into His own family.
When Paul penned this down, it was custom that when adopting a child, it meant their old debts were instantly wiped out and their past was completely erased. They got a brand-new name and full rights to everything the family owned.
That’s exactly what God did for you:
The past is gone. You aren't defined by your mistakes—you’re defined by His love.
You’re on the inside. You don't need a special pass to talk to Him. He’s your Father, and His door is always open.
Your spot is locked in. You’re not a guest; you’re an heir.
Next time you feel overlooked, unwanted, or out of place, remind yourself of this simple fact: you didn't crash the party. You were invited, chosen, and adopted on purpose. We only have to accept His offer of adoption. The choice is yours!
